This term we are learning all about 'Captivating Capitals' and especially, London.
We will be learning about what London is like now, which landmarks we recognise, places we have been, and we will also be comparing the London we know today to London in 1666.
We will be finding out all about The Great Fire of London; how and where it started, what happened to the people, what the king did, and reading some extracts from Samuel Pepys' diary.
Japan Day
On Thursday 26th April, we were very lucky to be visited by ladies from the Japan Society who came to tell us all about life in Japan.
We practised speaking Japanese with real Japanese people, we made origami dogs and pianos, tried on kimonos, used chopsticks, wrote our names in calligraphy and much, much more!
