Animal Adventures
This term our topic is Animal Adventure.
In English we have been reading the story of 'Zeraffa the Giraffe’. It is a picture book inspired by the true story of a giraffe sent as a gift to the King of France by the Great Pasha of Egypt in the 1820s. We have also read 'One Day on Our Blue Planet’ by Ella Bailey which is set in the African Savannah.

In Science we have been learning the 6 ways to classify different animals from all around the world. We can also identify if the animal is a herbivore, carnivore or omnivore based on what it eats.
We explored habitats like the North and South Pole .
We went on an animal Safari looking for wild animals. We used a simple chart to record how many of each animal we had seen.
