Bon Voyage!
Excellent Explorers!
This term our topic is Bon Voyage! (Excellent Explorers). We will be learning about famous explorers such as Christopher Columbus and Neil Armstrong, finding out where they explored and how they got there. We will be linking this to our geography learning, finding out places we have been and places we would like to explore!
In maths we are learning about place value and how to use it in addition and subtraction problems. For example, we will be partitioning 2-digit numbers into tens and ones and using this to help us add them together.
In English lessons we will be practising Year 2 High Frequency Words and learning how to extend our sentences to make them more interesting.

Dyslexia Awareness Week
This week we have learnt all about dyslexia. We dressed up as famous people who have dyslexia and are very successful.
We also learnt about Pablo Picasso and recreated some of his collage work for ourselves.
