Useful Information For Parents:
Homework
We ask that you hear your child read aloud for 15 minutes every day as this will greatly benefit their progress in reading. It will also underpin all their other learning, as reading is a key skill across the curriculum.
Homework is given out on a Friday and taken in on the following Wednesday. House points are given out to children who hand their homework in on time, and extra House points will be awarded for extra effort!
P.E.
We have 2 weekly sessions. In Term 1 this will be on Monday & Wednesday afternoons. All P.E lessons will be taught outside.
Your child will need to come to school dressed in their P.E. kit on these days. They will also need to have a spare set of clothes (tracksuit bottoms & a T-shirt) if needed in case they get wet or muddy. This should stay in school with a pair of trainers.
Earrings & watches need to be removed for P.E lessons. If they cannot remove their earrings, these will need to be taped over – please do this at home, or provide your child with tape & show them how to cover them.
