Our Term 3 Curriculum
Our Design and Technology Project
First we explored the different fabrics used to make these dolls and teddies. We can recognise and name materials such as cotton, lace, wool, leather, fur and silk. Next, we practised our joining fabric techniques using staples, safety pins, glue and tape. We evaluated our work to decide which joining techniques would suit different parts of our final project. We designed our clown puppets on paper first then used what we have learnt to create our final product. We really enjoyed playing with our finished puppets!
Music
Class One are learning about pulse and rhythm. We love moving to the music!

A New Friend for Class One
Class One have adopted an otter from the Surrey Wild Life Trust. We will be following our otter’s progress and finding out all about how they live in the wild. The children will be voting for a name for our toy otter shortly! Watch this space…
