Key Stage One Theatre Visit. The Sword in the Stone
History - Toys from the Past. Class One have been sharing their experiences to answer the following questions. How have toys and games changed over time? What did our parents and grandparents play with? What is different and what is the same?
Materials - What is the object? What material is it made from? Can you describe the properties of the materials?
Design and Technology - We took inspiration from the book 'The Adventures of Egg Box Dragon' by Richard Adams. In English we made predictions about the story and then used adjectives to describe our own dragons. We then went on to design and build our own egg box dragons exploring different ways to join materials together.
Our Construction Site - Inspired by the book 'What Will We Build?' by Oliver Jeffers. We have been exploring building and landmarks from around the UK in Geography this term.
Computing - We can move a robot. We can predict the outcome of a sequence of commands.
