On this page you can find out about all the exciting things we get up to in Class 2.

Our topics this year include ‘Let's Explore', ‘The Land of the Rising Sun’, ‘The Great Fire of London’ and 'Green Fingers'.

General information:

Please bring a named water bottle and book bag into school every day.

Reading

We use Rhino Readers an online reading scheme, please ask us if you need help with your login.  Your child should continue to bring their reading record into school on Mondays.

We want to encourage children to follow their interests and read as much as possible, therefore, extra books are available from the book corner at any time.

Homework 

Homework is set on a Wednesday and should be handed in the following Monday if possible. 

We use My Maths for our homework, please see us if you need help with your login.

P.E.

P.E. lessons are held every Thursday and Friday. Thursdays with a sports coach and on Fridays in Terms 5 and 6 it is swimming. 

Forest School

On Thursdays in Term 6 we take part in Forest School.  Please come to school dressed in Forest School clothes.
