Term 4
This Term we will be learning about Places and Plants of the UK. In Science we will be trying to name and identify different plants that can be found in the UK. We will also be planting several different seeds as part of our book, '10 Things To Help Our World'. In Geography we will be locating places in the UK using a map. In Art and Design we will be making a sculpture based on the natural materials and found objects. In ICT we will be making a card based on an occasion, as well as much more!
10 Things To Help Our World
This has been our book for English for some of the term and it has inspired the children to write posters, letters, poems, information leaflets and make presentations about how to help the world.
We made bird feeders to help our World.
We learned about how to look after plants and grew our own bean plants. Then we had a competition to find our who has the tallest, healthiest and the most leaves on their bean plant.
