Art
In art we have been looking at the life and work of artist Henri Rousseau. The children have painted their own interpretation of 'Tiger in a Tropical Storm' by Rousseau. They mixed paints to create different tints for the tiger and vegetation in their own artwork. We have also been looking at different animal skin and fur patterns and recreated some of our own using different media such as crayon, pastels, chalk and through digital painting on an iPad. We compared the different media to decide which we thought worked best.
