Class 5 spent their 1st Forest School session on a variety of activities, lots of them involving conkers. We had conker jewellery, conker people & conkers used as currency, to name but 3!
As it was a little wet, lots of people decided that it would be a good time to learn how to put up a tarpaulin shelter (or ‘tarp’ as the cool kids say). Work also continued on a couple of dens & the treehouse in the field maple tree.
Log pets were captured & tamed, fungus was discovered & a rope slide was constructed & tested. It was not a success, but maybe it could be improved...
