Scarecrows!

Task 1: Read through the Super Scarecrow. Can you help the farmer? Your task is to design a Super Scarecrow that will stop the crows. Think about where you would put it too.

Draw a detailed design and label the different components.  Write a paragraph explaining how your scarecrow works.

Think about how you could use the wind to get a variety of movements.Remember what you learnt making your lever and linkage posters at the start of the year.

                                                                                    

You might like to consider how you could use the stream,the slope of the field, the farmhouse, the field of cows or the hedgerow.
