For Class 2's second Forest School session, the sun was out but it was cool & shady in the woods. The den making & trap building projects from last week continued, but we also branched out (ha!) into some other creative areas. Lots of interesting artefacts were found & decorated with paint & string. Some children also made necklaces from wood slices. They had a go at using palm drills to make holes in the wood slices. We also made a swing & found some very unusual looking fungus growing on an old silver birch stump.
