Term 4
The Land of The Rising Sun
This term we are continuing our learning about Japan. We will be learning all about Japanese culture; what they wear, what they eat, where they worship and what happens when an earthquake strikes!
In English we will enjoy reading a range of books, including The BFG, The Magic Finger and The Necklace of Raindrops. We will be discussing what we think about the authors, the stories and the characters as well as using them to inspire our own writing.
We enjoyed learning about the Japanese Tea Ceremony. We even took part in one in the classroom. We were very adventurous and tried 3 different kinds of tea!
