Term 3 Learning Update

The entry point to our new topic.
We have been reading the book ‘Lost and Found’ and on our journey to the South Pole (to return a penguin) we stopped off in France for the day! We have learnt some french words and songs, tasted some french food, played some french games and painted in the style of the famous french artist Georges Seurat.
We continued our journey and stopped off in Kenya to see what a typical school day looked like. We made African jewellery and went on a safari to spot some animals. We also read Handa’s Suprise and tasted some of the fruits from the story that are grown in Africa. Our favourite was the lemon, as I am sure you will tell from our faces!
