Uniform Expectations at Kemsing Primary School

At Kemsing Primary School, we take great pride in our school community, and part of that pride is reflected in the way our children present themselves each day. Wearing the correct school uniform is an important part of building a shared sense of identity, belonging and readiness for learning.

It is essential that all children attend school in the correct uniform and in the correct colours. This supports a consistent and professional appearance across the school, and helps reduce unnecessary distractions during the school day.

Where to Buy: Items featuring the school logo (e.g., sweatshirt/cardigan) should be purchased from Brigade Clothing Ltd or My Clothing. All other uniform items can be found in most high street stores — however, please ensure that any items purchased from high street retailers are plain and feature no logos or branding. This includes polo shirts, trousers, shorts, and coats.

Items of uniform with the school badge on can be ordered from these suppliers.

We understand that for some families, purchasing uniform items can be a financial challenge. If this is the case, please do not hesitate to contact the school directly and in confidence. The school will always do what it can to support you.

In addition, our PTA runs regular second-hand uniform sales, offering good quality pre-loved items at affordable prices. Funds raised through these sales go directly back into supporting the school, and they’re a fantastic way to promote sustainability as well.

Thank you for your ongoing support in ensuring all pupils are dressed appropriately for school. Your partnership makes a real difference in helping us uphold our high standards.
