RESIDENTIAL MEETING POWERPOINT - TUESDAY 31ST MARCH AT BOTTOM OF PAGE

MAY 2026 UPDATES

Dear Families,

We are speeding through the year now, it seems and would like to refer you to some upcoming important events:

SATS are nearly upon us (MONDAY 11TH TO THURSDAY 14TH MAY) and as such we wish to assure you that your children are all doing well with their understanding of the curriculum and the revision of facts and knowledge that will stand them in good stead for these formal tests.

SATS BREAKFAST will run from the Monday to Thursday, each morning beginning at 7:50am in Class 6.We would request that all children try to be in school for this between 7:50am (no earlier please as we will still be setting up) and 8am, in order for us to set their days off calmly and in a fun way.  We have had a generous offer from Iris's family towards the cost of this and would like to thank them for their generosity once again.

Following the SATS, we will be focusing on our production, Matilda, and we are looking forward to presenting this to you on the evenings of Wednesday15th and Thursday 16th July, before finishing our whole year with our Leaver's Assembly on Tuesday 21st July at 9am.

We will keep you updated of anything further, such as the SALUS trip on 3rd June and the SATs results day.

Meanwhile, please remember we have an open door policy, so catch up with us at anytime you have a query.

With our kind regards,

Mrs B, Mrs Watson and Miss Scott.

Year 6 Team.

February 2026

Dear Parents and Families,

Thank you to those of you who were able to make it to our SATs Presentation Evenings.  We hope it was helpful and thank you for the continued marking of your child's books.  For those who were not able to make it, the PowerPoint presentation is at the bottom of this page.

This term we will be gaining momentum with Writing, Maths and English in preparation for the SATs in a few weeks.  We are so pleased with how the children are taking this all in their stride (as they ought to) and look forward to welcoming you into school in March for the Parent Consultations so that we can share this with you.

Best wishes,

Mrs B, Mrs Watson and Miss Scott
